Mete Alaton:
We are pleased to invite you to the opening ceremony celebrating the donation of a distinguished
collection to the MIAM Music Library — comprising numerous Classical music CDs that reflect the
personal taste of Mete Alaton, a highly respected figure in our nation’s business community and
the Founding Vice President of the PERPA Trade Center, along with selected music-related books
from his private library.
The event will be held on December 18, 2025 at 14:00 in the Cevad Memduh Altar Hall at the ITU
Dr. Erol Üçer Center for Advanced Studies in Music (MIAM). It will begin with a memorial gathering
and continue with the official unveiling of the archive to visitors.
