Brett Sroka and Jashiin. They will perform One Linden Tree, Then Another…

On May 10th, join us for a concert and workshop led by Brett Sroka and Jashiin. They will perform One Linden Tree, Then Another…, a new multi-movement work for synthesizer, field recordings, and live Max processing. This will be followed by an extensive tour of the custom-made Max setup used in the piece, and a Q&A regarding the use of Max (and electronic instruments in general) in live improvisation.

Seminar – Maternal Sound Simulation and Effects on Preterm Infants’ Physical Conditions

Bu seminerde, erken doğan bebeklerde doğum sonrası yaşanan komplikasyonları iyileştirmek amacıyla ana karnındayken duydukları seslerin (ya da simulasyonlarının) dinletilmesi ve bunun doğal gelişimlerine katkıları üzerine yapılmış çalışmalardan ve 2020-2023 yılları arasında gerçekleştirilen İstanbul Cerrahpaşa Üniversitesi Florence Nightingale Hemşirelik Fakültesi öncülüğünde TUBİTAK destekli araştırma projesinde, Medipol Üniversitesi’nden katılan diğer tıp uzmanlarının yanında, ses ile ilgili tek araştırmacı olarak İTÜ’den G. Deneç’in katılımı ve bu disiplinlerarası süreçteki deneyimleri aktarılacaktır.
